South County Recovery Center adds new events

March Events

In recent weeks the lineup of events at the South County Recovery Center has expanded. The Recovery Center now offers 7 peer recovery community based mutual aid groups. Rural Recovery facilitates 2 All-Recovery Meetings on Monday and Friday nights at 7PM.

The Recovery community is now offering a Spanish language All-Recovery meeting on Tuesday nights at 6PM, an Issues With Food Group on Wednesdays at 5:45PM, a general meditation group on Wednesdays 7PM, a Women’s Recovery Group on Thursday at 6PM, and a Recovery Dharma Group at 10AM on Saturday. There is also a Poetry Reading that occurs at 4-5:30PM on the last Saturday of the month, and a Beginners Yoga and Mediation class from 7-8:30PM on the Last Tuesday of the month.

As always, these groups are open to anyone and are offered at no cost. Donations are welcomed. There is a donation box located next to the door. Donations help to sustain the Recovery Center and our ability to offer snacks, beverages, and other activities. We look forward to seeing you!
