South County Recovery Center seeks volunteers

Are you, or someone you know, affected by substance use? Are you looking to make a difference in the South County recovery community? Are you just looking to help those in need? We are looking for volunteers to help bolster the recovery community and support a thriving recovery center.

We are currently in need of a volunteer to help coordinate other volunteers, more volunteers to help at the front desk, and volunteers to help facilitate peer-support groups, possible outings, and drop in times.

As an agency guided by the SAMHSA Working Definition of recovery which is: “A process of change through which individuals improve their health and wellness, live a self-directed life, and strive to reach their full potential” we embrace an all pathways to recovery and harm reduction philosophy. We believe there is no wrong door to recovery.

If you are interested in volunteering please stop in to the South County Recovery Center, Monday-Friday 10am-4:30pm, call (413) 645-3564 or email help@rural-recovery.org
